Can you imagine how hard it is for someone to play catch with no hands? I mean this would not be possible; it is the same difference as it concerns meeting senior singles when you are on the hunt for them. Senior singles are out there, you know that they are out there, but for some reason you just can’t find them.
Well have you ever though that you could not find them because you were looking in the wrong places, or even worse, they were not looking for you? Seniors don’t socialize as much with friends
When you are younger you meet a lot of people through networking with your friends. You may meet a person because they knew a close friend of yours, or the friends knew a friend who knew somebody who was single. People seemed to be very eager to set you up on dates.
Now that people are older this isn’t the case anymore. There may not be a lot of friends around to assist you and introduce you to people. You have to make it an aim to get out there in the places senior singles hang out and make some friends, don’t be concerned about trying to date, just mingle and see where it goes.
Senior singles do not go out to nightclubs
Night clubs are a big no for senior singles. This may have been cool when they were younger, but now they just look uncomfortable and out of place if they were to go to these places. There are places that will cater to senior singles, but they are far and few so this is not a good option.
Instead try looking at some of the more quiet places senior singles will hang out. Look at church bingo nights, or group events at local community centers. Don’t feel insulted about going to these places; you will be able to find many seniors singles who are more then interested in meeting someone.
Some senior singles want younger
This is perhaps the number one problem, especially as it concerns men who are not ready to throw in the towel as it concerns there youth. Some people whether its men or women simply want to stay young as long as possible. They would prefer to date someone who is much younger then them.
This leaves out a lot of other senior singles who might be more suitable for them. I suggest you do not spend your time worrying about such things. There are always more senior singles that have grown up and don’t need youth around them in order to feel validated.
Playing catch with no hands is difficult, but playing the game of looking for senior singles can be even tougher for the reasons I just mentioned above. Do not let these things discourage you. You will find someone in your golden years that will treat you like gold if you keep on digging.
